Director- Kyle Gookins

Kyle has been involved in sports since he was four years old.  He focused on soccer and played College Soccer at California State University Bakersfield under Simon Tobin (San Jose State) and John Smith (Cornell).  He then pursued a career in coaching which led him to North Carolina, Florida, and now residing in Atlanta Georgia.  He has coached every level and age, from U9 all the way up to NCAA Division I.  He stepped away from full time coaching to spend more time working with The Neu Sport and his College Soccer Consulting Agency, My College Soccer.

His Passion for Neuroinclusion began when his son Otis was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.  Both he and his wife began to dive deeper in their respective disciplines in order to create a safe place for all types of minds to flourish.  His wife Megan launched The Neu Project to push inclusion in the events and hospitality industry.

"The more we researched and discovered about Neurodiversity, we realized the issue was not the individuals facing struggles, but that programming and instruction was not inclusive to all minds.  They were developed and centered around Neurotypical brains."
